I'm actually using Seth's computer to post this, and I have to say thanks for being so patient, my faithful friends! You have not given up when I have! I really need a new computer, but in the meantime, I will have to use Seth's computer to keep this blog updated better. That is when he is in town! :) For those of you who may not know, we spent the summer in AZ this year. The kids and I got home about a week and a half before school started, and this is Landon's 1st grade year and Libby's Pre-K year! Delaney and I are having a great time together during the day. I really love spending the one-on-one time with my kids. The school year has brought with it many new activities for our family this year. Both Landon and Libby are in soccor and loving it! Landon also wanted to join the the local Scout group, so I am now a new Tiger Cub Scout Leader. We are really looking forward to this!!! Laney is at that really fun stage where she is walking around, exploring EVERYTHING, and always making us laugh and love even more.

Long time, no see!

Hello! I made my goal today to do some catch-up. It's kind of driving me crazy tonight, as everything I'm entering is coming in backwards, even the pictures of Delaney's birthday, but I will try to organize this. Oh, yeah, some of January's pictures are in there twice. Sorry. Also, it will make more sense if you scroll to the bottom and start with October. Thanks for your patience!

JANUARY:
Our most recent news is that we just celebrated Delaney's first birthday!!!! She was such a great birthday girl. She loved getting sung to, and in general the whole party! We love her little Spirit and Soul so much! (The bath came at the end of the night, of course :) )

January:
Delaney turns ONE!!!!!

When we got home, we discovered that Santa had left his special presents here for us! (Not that the kids NEEDED any more!!!)

After everyone went home, we made the trip to Arizona on the 18th of December for Christmas for a couple of weeks. We stayed with Seth's parents in Mesa. I feel like I keep repeating myself when I say that we have had just such a great time seeing family this winter, but we have!!! It has really been a special treat, and it's always magnified ten fold seeing the joy and happiness of the kids being around aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas.

Before everyone left to go back to thier own states, we decided to do our own little family Christmas because Landon was still on school break, and having family around to share things with is such a rare treat, anyway!

The kids really loved seeing their Uncles. For Libby especially, it was an oppurtunity to make some of her earliest memories of them. We had a blast going bowling, playing laser tag, and playing games at home. Josh and Chris have my highest compliments. They are so enjoyable and nice to have around. Love you, guys! (Or as Libby says, Daddy's Boys)

This is one of the fun things we did together with Mom and Dad. We went to a beautiful place about 30 mins away called Amacalola Falls. It's a beautiful place on the south edge of the Apalachain Trail. I just wish we could have gone even two weeks earlier when the leaves were at their peak! Nevertheless, it was a gorgeous brisk autumn day spent exploring our Heavenly Father's great outdoors.

We had a really great November with a lot of family visits. My Mom and Dad came to stay with us for three weeks, staying over Thanksgiving when Josh and Chris (Seth little brothers) also came to visit from college in Mississippi. It was so nice to see everybody! It is such a special treat to have loved one so close. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

A lot has happened since the last time I've posted, hence the lack of posts. I've hit that third child chaos! It's been hard enough to get everything fit into one day that should be done, let alone spend time on the computer! Delaney has been a very active little girl. She and her sister really keep my running everyday. I've decided that to catch up, I'll start in Oct. with a few pictures of our little Halloweeners! ;) Landon wanted to be Batman, Libby was Cinderella, and Delaney was Snow White, and boy, were they the perfect representatives. :) They are so much fun and really keep us entertained as well as busy!
